As a reactive flame retardant additive for epoxy, Tetrabromobisphenol-A is widely used in the manufacturing of epoxy and phenolic resins. The product is exceptionally suitable where low color and high clarity are mandatory. It is also an important intermediate in the preparation of more sophisticated flame retardants.
