Bromosol
Bromosol is a single component biocide solution based on an oxidizing bromine source. Bromosol can be used in a wide range of applications, offering biofilm protection for cooling towers and industrial water systems. Bromosol’s high performance and long shelf life promote cost-effectiveness while addressing numerous macro-level needs.
Bromosol is chlorine-free, inhibits microbiological growth and controls existing microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, and algae. It is also active in the control of Legionella pneumophila bacteria, which causes Legionnaires’ disease (Legionellosis).
Solubility: Bromosol is miscible with water in all proportions.
Incompatibility: Bromosol is a strong oxidizer and should not be stored near reducing agents or strong acids.
Flammability and Explosivity:Bromosol is non-flammable.
Compatibility: In normal use concentrations, Bromosol solutions are compatible with commonly used materials of construction of cooling systems. In its neat form, Bromosol is compatible with polypropylene, high density polyethylene, Teflon®, polyvinyl chloride and Viton®.
Packaging: Bromosol is supplied in 20 kg plastic containers, in 200 kg drums and Intermediate Bulk Containers – IBCs.
