Basic Magnesium Carbonate (BMC Light) is manufactured at the Scora production site via the Pattinson production method, in grades with available densities ranging from 0.1 g/cc to 0.15 g/cc. Certified as pharmaceutical grade and food-grade, BMC Light can be used as an active substance or an excipient for pharmaceutical production. The product might also be used as a mineral supplement, food additive and additive for beverages and anti-caking solutions. A high purity product, BMC Light has a special morphology that facilitates a material adjustment for a wide range of applications.
