Fyrol® PNX-LE
Fyrol®PNX-LE is a highly effecient halogen-free flame retardant additive used in flexible polyurethane foam. This material is non-corrosive to glass or metals, and is most suitable for MVSS 302 and Cal 117 type foams. Its high molecular weight offers an additional advantage in automotive foams.
Fyrol®PNX-LE is an ultra-low emissions product that is capable of meeting the most stringent specifications for FOG and VOC. Although performance will vary depending on density and formulation, it is not unusual to see a reduction of 50% in the level of flame retardant necessary to meet MVSS302 in slabstock foam.
